A Mayo election candidate is calling for the roll-out of a mobile X-ray service for the county.

It’s one of a number of local schools to amalgamate, bringing an end single-sex education in the town. The female-only Mercy and Presentation College have also amalgamated to become High Cross College. They will also take on male students.
