Ballina TikTok sensation Garron Noone is in talks to get a prime-time show on RTÉ 2fm, according to the .
Noone, who has taken the social media platform by storm with nearly one million followers to date, is reportedly being shortlisted for The 2 Johnnie's former drivetime slot.
Johnny 'B' and Johnny 'Smacks' departed their radio role at the end of May with David O’Reilly and Lottie Ryan taking over the reins.
2FM recently lost Doireann Garrihy from their breakfast show while Jennifer Zamparelli also left her position.
The Irish Mirror is reporting that the radio station is "road testing" some of Ireland’s aspiring comedians and influencers to replace these departed hosts, with Mayo man Garron "sparking interest" amongst the RTÉ headhunters.
Noone's short clips provide viewers with laughter on everyday topics such as food, and the viral social media star also possesses musical talent.
