Six councillors have been elected to the Claremorris Municipal District in the 2024 Mayo County Council elections. Four incumbent councillors have returned to the Council with two newcomers set to serve for the next five years.

Hollymount Independent councillor Patsy O’Brien has been the first elected in the Claremorris electoral area, exceeding the quota of 1,954 on the first count - picking up 2,739 votes.
