Sadness at the death of Mayo native in their 100th year

The death took place last week of Chris Barnicle (nee Conway), Gortaphuill, Ballyglass, Claremorris.
In her 100th year, Chris passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents John and Maryann, brother Tom, sister Mamie, godchildren Pat and Sheila and nephews Tom, Vinnie and John. She is deeply regretted by her daughters Mary Crehan (Newbridge, Galway), Ann (Gortaphuill), son-in-law Eugene Crehan, grandchildren Marie (Sé), David (Kate), Keith (Aisling), Henry (Shauna), great-grandchildren Oisín, Aoibhín, Áine and Cáít, sisters-in-law Kitty, Nora and Kathleen, brother-in-law Frank, nieces Cathryn, Agnes and Mary, nephews Chris, Michael and Des, the Rushe family, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, carers, friends and neighbours to whom sincere sympathy is extended.
Her remains reposed at her home last Thursday and Friday and her Funeral Mass took place on Saturday morning at 11.30 in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace and St Gerald, Mayo Abbey. Burial ceremonies took place afterwards in Mayo Abbey Cemetery.
