ALERT: Popular Mayo train service resumes following aftermath of Storm Éowyn

Normal train services have resumed today between Westport/Ballina and Athlone, Iarnród Éireann has announced.

The service was suspended following power outages affecting the operation of level crossings in the area due to Storm Éowyn.
