Uisce Éireann crews responding to three burst mains in North Mayo

Uisce Éireann crews are this morning responding to three separate bursts on water mains at locations in North Mayo, which are affecting supply to customers.
A burst on a main in Ballina is disrupting supply to approximately 400 customers in the Crossmolina Road area of the town.
Elsewhere in the Ballina area, a burst has occurred on a main at Ardnaree which is affecting supply to approximately 400 customers in the Ardnaree and Bonniconlon areas.
A separate burst is impacting supply to approximately 200 customers in the Pullathomas and Glengad areas of Erris this morning.
Uisce Éireann crews are on site at the locations of all three bursts and are commencing their repair works.
Colette Scahill of Uisce Éireann said that crews will work as quickly as possible to repair these bursts and restore supply to affected homes and businesses.
“We understand the stress and frustration that unplanned water outages such as these can cause our customers,” said Colette.
“We want to assure impacted residents and business owners that our crews are making every effort to resolve these issues and restore normal supply as soon as possible.”
