The warning, which is also in place for Leitrim, Galway, Sligo, and Donegal, began at 9am and will continue until 4am on Friday.

The rain will be heaviest and most persistent in the west and north. Rather cool with afternoon highs of 10 to 13 degrees generally, but becoming milder from the west this evening and early tonight.
It'll become breezy too, with south-westerly winds increasing to moderate to fresh with the arrival of the rain.
Thursday night will be breezy and mild, with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle, turning heavy at times in the west and northwest.
A clearance to showers will push into the northwest later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees for most, but dropping to between nine to 11 degrees towards morning in the northwest.
Friday will be brighter, fresher conditions with sunny spells and scattered blustery showers in the west and northwest, extending to all parts by the afternoon.
Afternoon highs will range from 11 to 14 degrees, with moderate to fresh and gusty westerly winds, strong along the western and northern coasts.
