When the latest ORANGE Mayo weather warning concludes

The Status Orange - Low Temperature/Ice warning remains valid for Connacht until 11am this morning (Thursday, January 9).

Freezing temperatures continued during the night, and Mayo County Council advised: "Take care when travelling on our roads.

"While our gritting crews were out last night and again this morning, please assume that road conditions will be difficult and exercise caution."
