New bus stop poles removed in Mayo town

Councillor Brendan Mulroy has confirmed that the new bus stop poles erected on George's Street, Newport, have been removed.
Cllr Mulroy said: "Bus Éireann have confirmed to Mayo County Council this afternoon that the new poles erected on George's Street, Newport, will be removed. Thanks to all who contacted me on this matter, and also to the Mayo County Council officials for their help in getting this matter resolved very quickly."
