Mayo team tipped to appear at Electric Picnic with Saw Doctors There is speculation that members of Mayo’s All-Ireland winning team could take to the stage with The Saw Doctors when they perform at Electric Picnic this weekend.
‘The Green and Red of Mayo’ will be ringing out when the Galway band take to the stage at the festival on Sunday and it is believed that some of Mayo’s All-Ireland heroes will be centre-stage too.
Festival boss Melvin Benn has predicted that The Saw Doctors performance could be one of the highlights of the weekend.
“I think there’s something going on about Mayo and that will really be a moment,” he commented.
The Saw Doctors are playing two sold-out nights in the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar net month.
The finishing touches are being put on the Electric Picnic festival site in Stradbally before 80,000 festival-goers arrive over the course of the weekend.
