Gardaí continuing investigation into Mayo assault incident
Gardaí are continuing to investigate a serious assault on a man in his 20s in Castlebar last Friday.
The man was brought to Mayo University Hospital following the incident that occurred around 3am to be treated for serious injuries.
He has since been discharged from hospital, according to a Garda source.
No arrests have been made at this time pertaining to the assault.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
