Double delight: Andy's daughter wins club lotto after his relegation final heroics

There were double celebrations in the Moran household in Ballaghaderreen last night.
After Mayo senior manager and Ballaghaderreen club veteran Andy Moran came off the bench on Sunday to help save the day in Ballagh’s senior relegation final against Balla, his daughter Charlotte celebrated another big victory later on after her name was drawn as the winner of the club’s 50/50 draw.
Andy came off the bench as Balla led by five points and had a priceless cameo that has seen Ballaghaderreen retain their senior status for 2027. The All-Ireland winning manager rolled back the years, scoring two points and setting up Conor Moriarty for the game-winning goal.
At Spells Bar that night, his daughter Charlotte’s name was pulled out in the club’s 50/50 lotto draw and she is now the winner of a fantastic €625 prize; the icing on the cake after a superb day for the Moran family.
