Order of Malta Ballina has appointed Lt. David Beattie as the new Officer-in-Charge for 2025. A long-standing member of the organisation, David takes over from Lt. Brian Cronin, who spent five years in this important role.
The voluntary group is based at Marian Crescent, Ballina and provides first aid and ambulance cover to the community on a regular basis, not just in the Ballina area, but across much of the region.
