The weather warning will be in place from 3am on Saturday (December 21) until 6pm on Sunday (December 22).
Met Éireann say there will be sustained strong and gusty westerly winds veering northwesterly, coupled with large coastal waves.

Potential impacts include wave overtopping, difficult travelling conditions - especially near the coast - and some fallen trees.
Clare, Galway, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are also included in the wind warning.
