ALERT: Orange risk weather warning in effect for Mayo

If you see a fire, do not delay. Report it to the Fire Service straight away by calling 999 or 112.

Mayo County Council had advised that a 'Condition Orange – High Fire Risk' weather warning is in effect until 12pm Monday, April 14. 

Arising from current weather patterns a high fire risk is deemed to exist in all areas where hazardous fuels such as dead grasses and shrub fuels such as heather and gorse exist.
