ALERT: Motorists advised of temporary road closure during popular Mayo town festival
Temporary local diversions and alternative routes will be in place and signposted
There will be a temporary road closure for this summer's Ballyhaunis Summer Festival.
The road closure will be at Knox Street (N83) from the junction with N60 at the Square to L19201, 200 metres, from Sunday, June 1 (7am) until Monday, June 2 (2am).
Temporary local diversions and alternative routes will be in place and signposted. Pedestrian and local access will be maintained.
Any objections or observations regarding this proposal should be lodged in writing to the county council by 4pm on Wednesday, May 7.
Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of @MayoCoCo to temporarily close Knox Street (N83) from the junction with N60 at the Square to L19201 on Sunday June 1st to facilitate Ballyhaunis Summer Festival, 2025
