-4.0 C recorded at this West of Ireland area as cold snap hits Ireland
The Status Yellow Low Temperature/Ice warning is currently in place until 11am this morning.
With the temperatures dropping over the last day, -4.0 C was recorded in Sligo on Thursday.
According to Met Éireann, the freezing temperature was recorded in Markree, Co. Sligo at around 9am yesterday.
