West of Ireland farmer brought to hospital due to no heat or power for two weeks

An elderly farmer who had no power and heat for 14 days was brought to hospital suffering from hypothermia.

He was suffering from hypothermia and was brought to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
The man had no power or heat for two weeks in the aftermath of Storm Éowyn.
