Two Mayo towns to feature on national television this evening

Tune into Nationwide this Friday, 8th May at 7pm on RTÉ One, where TidyTowns groups from Ballina and Westport will feature.

In March, Ballina Tidy Towns were presented with the Gold Medal Award at the TidyTowns Ireland regional award ceremony in Carrick-on-Shannon.

This evening’s television programme focuses on the success of Westport in the Tidy Towns Awards down through the years. Also, in Ballina, the team hears about a Creative Climate Action project exploring how Ballina’s historic laneways can adapt to increased rainfall.
