Mayo County Council has asked the public to "please exercise extreme caution" during these weather warnings.

Four Met Éireann weather warnings will be in place during Storm Darragh's descent on Mayo and Ireland.

One weather warning is currently active for Mayo while three will take effect in the afternoon and into tonight.

- Status Red (Wind): 9pm on Friday, December 6, until 3am on Saturday, December 7.

- Status Orange (Wind): 8pm on Friday until 10am on Saturday.

- Status Yellow (Rain): 3pm on Friday until 3pm on Saturday.

- Status Yellow (Wind): Currently valid until 10am on Saturday.
