It is with deep sadness we record the passing Eileen McHale née Commons, Corheens, Breaffy, Castlebar and formerly of Dooleeg, Crossmolina.
Eileen passed away peacefully after a long illness at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family. Her passing is an occasion of great sorrow to her family and many friends made down the decades.
She was a former employee of Mayo County Council where she was immensely popular with colleagues and staff. Eileen was also secretary of Castlebar Town FC for several years and she was held in high regard by all those involved in soccer in the town and the county.
