Number of offences detected during operation in Mayo town

On Thursday the 20th February, 2025 a multi-agency operation was conducted in Ballyhaunis Co. Mayo, involving An Garda Siochana, MRL Drugs and Immigration Units, the Workplace Relations Commission, Revenue and the Department of Social Protection.
Inspections were conducted on business premises to assess compliance with a range of legislation. A number of offences were detected and enquiries are ongoing by the various agencies in respect of same.
