New dine-in restaurant to open its doors in Mayo town today

Á Thai Noodle Bar is the latest addition to Bridge Street in Westport as of today, Thursday (December 12), at noon.

The new restaurant opens in the building that previously housed Gavin’s Cafe, the iconic eatery that closed in October after 20 years.

The proprietors of this promising establishment are Patrick Hughes and Nicky.

Patrick took to Facebook to announce the opening of á Thai Noodle Bar and express gratitude for all of the help he received from the Westport community.

He wrote: “Many thanks to all the local tradespeople who helped make our dream a reality and the business community for their unwavering support.

“We are enhancing Westport's culinary offering by providing a dine-in-only experience. C'mon in and take your time to enjoy the entire experience in the heart of Bridge Street.”
