Motorist arrested for driving nearly 200km/h on major Mayo road

The Mayo Roads Policing Unit detected a car travelling at 190km/h in a 100km/h zone on the N5 near Charlestown in the rain.
They were stopped and the driver was arrested. The car was also seized.
Court will follow.
