Mayo weather warning: When it takes effect

A Status Yellow Wind warning has been issued for Mayo.

The weather warning will come into effect from midday on Friday (April 10) and expire at 9pm the same night.

Met Éireann Weather has stated that strong and gusty south to southeast winds will be present during the day.

Possible impacts include difficult travelling conditions and the potential of some fallen trees and branches.
