Emerging Irish singer-songwriter Chris Cresham has officially signed with German powerhouse label Bamboo Artists, marking a major milestone in his rapidly rising career.
Originally from County Mayo, Castlebar, and now based in London, Cresham makes history as the label’s first-ever UK signing as the company continues its expansion into the UK and US markets.
The deal follows a surge of industry interest, with multiple labels circling before he ultimately chose Bamboo Artists, a decision driven by the label’s clear vision and expanding global reach.
Since launching in 2021, Bamboo Artists have quickly become one of the most influential independent forces in the European music industry.
Their roster includes Bees & Honey, whose global hit “Show Me Love” has surpassed half a billion Spotify streams, alongside fast-rising acts such as Panicbaby, Ski Aggu, 01099, and Zartmann.
In the past six months alone, Bamboo’s roster has achieved:
- Over 1 billion collective streams
- Multiple #1 albums
- Numerous Gold and Platinum records
By joining Bamboo Artists, Cresham becomes part of the largest independent music label, publisher, and management company in the GSA region, headquartered in Berlin, Germany.
Cresham isn’t slowing down anytime soon, with a run of new releases already lined up in the months ahead. With serious momentum building and international backing now in place, he’s quickly shaping up as one of the most exciting new artists to come out of the west of Ireland.
