Mayo road closed following accident

Mayo County Council has advised that the N17 is closed between Kilkelly and Charlestown following an accident.

Diversions are in place:

- N17 northbound traffic is being diverted via Kilkelly and Swinford to Charlestown.

- N17 southbound traffic is being diverted via Swinford and Kilkelly to N17.

Motorists are being advised to proceed with caution if travelling on this route.
