FBD Insurance has announced that Connolly’s Pub in Hollymount has been selected to receive a €25,000 advertising package from FBD as part of its nationwide €275,000 Advertising Support Campaign for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Now in its second year, FBD’s campaign builds on its strong backing of local SMEs. The selected businesses, all FBD customers, receive advertising support across billboards, radio, print, digital and video platforms to help raise their profile.
Founded by father-and-son duo Tom and Ryan, Connolly’s is more than a traditional pub - it’s a lively, family-friendly space known for great craic, local music and a secret beer garden for private events. Since opening just over a year ago, it has quickly become a key social hub in the community.
Sharon Treanor, Head of Marketing at FBD Insurance, said: “SMEs are the backbone of Ireland’s economy and society, and we are proud to continue highlighting the vital role they play.”
The campaign features testimonials from local customers, highlighting the vital role businesses like Connolly’s play in bringing the community together. It forms part of FBD’s wider commitment to local communities through its ‘Funding, Backing, Donating’ strategy.
