Mayo Mountain Rescue respond to an incident yesterday

Yesterday, the Mayo Mountain Rescue team responded to a call-out on Croagh Patrick, where a female hiker required medical assistance.
Following an initial assessment, they requested support from the Irish Coast Guard helicopter.
The casualty was safely evacuated and transferred to the hospital for further treatment.
The mountain rescue team would like to thank the Irish Coast Guard for their assistance and wish the casualty a full and speedy recovery.
