Man who died in Mayo tragedy to be laid to rest this week

The funeral for a man who died following an accident in Ballinrobe last Thursday will take place this week.
Dr. Martin Finnerty, Ballinrobe and late of Athenry, was the pedestrian who died after he was struck by a vehicle.
Dr. Finnerty will be laid to rest tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17, at 11.30 am in St. Mary's Church, Ballinrobe with the funeral then proceeding to the new cemetery, Ballinrobe.
He is reposing at Cummins Funeral Home, Ballinrobe today, Monday, December 16, from 4 pm until 8pm with private removal to his home afterwards.
