Mayo County Council has formally approved the lease of the Balla Sensory Park to Balla Community Resources Development CLG.
At the May meeting of the forum, a Section 183 proposal came before members to lease a plot of land to Balla Community Resources Development CLG, measuring 0.184 hectares (0.454 acres). The lease is designed to regularise the consent that was given in June 2024 to Balla Community Resources Development CLG for the construction and operation of Balla Sensory Park on property owned by the council.
Regularising the lease formalises the current occupancy such that the property is maintained as Balla Sensory Park.
