Garda witness appeal following Mayo incident
A male was hospitalised following the incident.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses following public order incident in South Mayo.
The incident occurred in the Dalton Street area of Claremorris, Co Mayo on Sunday 26th April 2026.
At around 12:30am, there was a physical altercation between a number of males. A further altercation occurred, also on Dalton Street, at around 12:50am.
One male was brought to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Two other males were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact them.
Anyone who was in the area between 11pm on Saturday the 25th of April and 1:00am on Sunday the 26th of April 2026 and who may have any information about the incident is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
Anyone with camera footage (including mobile phone and dash-cam footage) is asked to make it available.
