A garda investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Castlebar is continuing.
Emergency services were alerted to the scene at a property, located between Parke and Turlough, after 9am on Thursday, when the man was found unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
The deceased was aged in his late 30s and is understood not to be originally from the area.
The coroner and the Office of the State Pathologist were notified that a post-mortem examination was to be carried out.
Gardai have said the course of their investigation will be determined by the post-mortem.
