Gardaí detect road traffic offences on major Mayo road this morning

This morning Gardaí from the Mayo Roads Policing Unit conducted a Checkpoint on the N17 in the Claremorris area. 

Accompanying the Gardaí were members from other agencies which included the RSA and the Environmental Department. 

Gardaí stated on their Facebook page that a number of HGVs were stopped and controlled and other road traffic offences were detected.
