Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Westport, Co. Mayo, this morning, Thursday, 6th February, 2025.

The single-vehicle collision occurred in Ballycroy at around 10am.

The Bangor Erris to Newport road is closed and local diversions are in place.
