'Fantastic addition' - Extension confirmed for Mayo school

Minister for Social Protection and Rural and Community Development Dara Calleary has welcomed confirmation that Inver NS has received approval to proceed to construction with a proposed extension.

"The Department of Education has issued approval to Inver NS to now proceed with their long anticipated extension. I have worked closely with the outgoing Minister Norma Foley to get this project over the line. I also want to acknowledge my colleague Cllr Sean Carey and the school management under the guidance of Diane Cosgrove for their committment to the project. It will be a fantastic addition to the school," he said.
