COMMUNITY NOTES: ENNISCRONE - WESTERN PEOPLE (FEBRUARY 18 EDITION)

Enniscrone Show remembered Edward Kilcullen who died last week.

"Our hearts are deeply saddened by the loss of our Show President Mr Edward Kilcullen PC. He was instrumental in the Show’s revival in 1990, and continued to be a beacon of inspiration to the committee since. In fact, as a boy back in 1939 he entered vegetables in the very first show in Enniscrone and served on the committee for many years before becoming President in 2015. His unwavering support and mentorship to the committee in Castleconnor over the past eight years have left an indelible mark on all of us," said a spokesperson.

"To the family of Ned, please accept our deepest condolences during this difficult time. We hope you all find solace in the loving memories you shared with him, whose legacy will continue to inspire and guide us. With hearfelt sympathy, Ar dheis De go raibh a anam", Enniscrone Show.
