Driver left with serious injuries following Mayo crash
Any road users who were travelling in the area between 3:20pm and 4:15pm on Friday and who may have any information are asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic incident that occurred on the Castlebar to Ballinrobe road yesterday (Friday).
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a two vehicle collision at the junction of the N84 and the L5753 at Drumkeaghta at approximately 3:45pm.
One of the drivers, a male in his 40s, was conveyed to Mayo University Hospital for the treatment of injuries which are understood to be serious but not life-threatening at this time.
A technical examination of the scene has been conducted.
Any road users who were travelling in the area between 3:20pm and 4:15pm on Friday, May 8 and who may have any information are asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
Anyone with camera footage (including dash-cam and mobile phone footage) is asked to make that available.
