'Delighted to be up and running' - new Ballina cafe officially opened

This morning, Wednesday (December 11), O’Hara’s of Foxford opened a cafe in Ballina.
Baker51 is the newest addition to Market Lane off Tone Street.
Julie O’Hara told the
, “It has been so exciting to open the doors. It was actually quite emotional. We have been working on it for a while and we are just delighted to be up and running.”The menu incorporates O’Hara’s bread and confectionary products, offering a wide selection of baked goods, from sweet and sticky monkey bread to decadent cookies and cruffins.

Coffee is also served at Baker51, and the establishment is an ideal spot for dining. The eatery has an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, including an Irish delicacy: the Tayto Sandwich.
O’Haras of Foxford is a family-run business established in 1951. This piece of trivia was later incorporated into the name of the new cafe.
“We are delighted to be in Ballina,” Julie O’Hara said. “We are delighted to be part of this amazing community. This is our first day opening and we are so happy with the reaction from people.”
