Congratulations: Mayo men enjoy success at prestigious awards ceremony

Mayo photographers, Michael McLaughlin and Conor McKeown, both enjoyed success at the AIB Press Photographer of the Year Award 2025, which took place in Dublin last Friday, 28th February.
Michael won 1st prize in the Portrait category for his image ‘Forging Friendships’ while Conor picked up 1st prize in the Nature & the Environment category for his image ‘Feeling Blue’.
The annual awards, now in their 47th year, recognise press photographers from around Ireland with a collection of 110 images that tell the story of 2024 in pictures.
