Families can get into the Halloween spirit this October as the Ballina Pumpkin Patch will return for another weekend of pumpkin picking and spooky fun.

The Ballina Pumpkin Patch will be open over the October Bank Holiday weekend at the Sisters of Mercy Convent Grounds on McDermott Street.

The patch will open on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th from 9:30am to 4pm, and on Monday 26th from 9:30am to 2:30pm.

Two dedicated Autism-Friendly Sessions will also take place from 9:30am to 10:30am on Saturday and Sunday. These sessions will offer a calmer and quieter experience for those who would benefit from a smaller crowd.

Children can pick their own pumpkin, with one guaranteed for every child, while spooky activities and autumn-themed fun will keep the whole family entertained.

Tickets are on sale now. The event is run by the Ballina Lights Committee, and every ticket sold will help to raise funds for the Christmas lights display in the town.

The Pumpkin Patch is also supporting the Sunflower Children’s Hospice as its charity partner. When purchasing tickets, there will be an option to make an additional donation to the hospice.
