The Ballina Chamber of Commerce has announced the election of Cliona Campion as its new President for 2026.

Cliona is a director of Campion Freight Services Ltd, a Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance agency. She expressed her pride in taking on the position, noting that she is following in the footsteps of her father, TJ Tyrrell, who served as Chamber President in 1981.

Cliona paid tribute to outgoing President Mary Moyles, thanking her for her outstanding contribution to Ballina and its business community over the past two years.

Looking ahead, she outlined her commitment to strengthening connections among members, advocating on their behalf, and continuing to promote a “shop local” ethos.

“The Chamber door is always open,” she said. “We welcome ideas from everyone on how to make Ballina an even better place to live and do business.”

The Chamber remains focused on supporting local enterprise and fostering sustainable economic growth in the region.
