Cannonball Ireland returns in September

Supercar fans will see Ireland's largest gathering of iconic marques at Cannonball Ireland 2026, starting on Friday, September 11.
Over 200 cars, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche, will embark on a three-day journey to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House.
The event begins at Johnstown Estate, Enfield, Co Kildare, travel through the Wicklow hills, and return to the K Club in Straffan for lunch. After a fuel stop at Circle K M9 Kilcullen, the supercar convoy heads to Tullamore, Co Offaly, arriving around 6pm for a free family festival, before participants head to Athlone for the night.
On Saturday, September 12, the convoy leaves Athlone at 10.30am, travels to The Falls Hotel in Ennistymon for lunch, and then regroup in Bunratty mid afternoon before arriving in Limerick City around 5pm for another free festival.
The final day, Sunday, September 13, starts in Limerick at 11am, with a fuel stop at Circle K Fermoy after noon, and lunch at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cork. The grand finale is in Kilkenny City, with arrivals starting around 5.30pm featuring live entertainment.
Cannonball drivers are renowned for their elaborate fancy dress and spectators are encouraged to also dress up with prizes for the best costumes.
Since 2009, Cannonball Ireland, founded by Kildare businessman Alan Bannon, has raised over €2.5 million in aid of Irish charities.
