Toyota welcomes new RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid

More than 35,000 Toyota RAV4 models have been sold in Ireland to date.

Toyota Ireland is celebrating another market-leading performance after retaining its position as Ireland’s number one brand in July as the latest sales figures reveal an accelerating shift in the way Irish motorists are choosing to power their cars.

Data from the previous month shows that Toyota registered more than 15,800 passenger cars sales, securing a market share of 13.86% and finishing almost 2,500 units ahead of its nearest competitor with strong bZ sales helping drive the shift towards battery electric vehicles.

This result makes it the sixth consecutive year that Toyota has led Ireland’s new-car market, reflecting the continued trust Irish motorists place in the brand’s quality, reliability and broad range of electrified vehicles.

Toyota’s continued market leadership is supported by strong customer demand across its passenger-car line-up, rather than by the performance of one vehicle alone. Four Toyota models featured among the top ten best-selling cars in July, including the Yaris Cross, which claimed top spot in January, Toyota Corolla, Toyota RAV4 and Toyota C-HR.

Building on its strong market performance and growing demand for electrified vehicles, Toyota is now welcoming the highly anticipated all-new RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid to dealerships nationwide. Available from €47,340, customers can enjoy all the benefits of plug-in hybrid driving at a price comparable to the equivalent full hybrid model, making electrified driving more accessible than ever. With more than 35,000 Toyota RAV4 models sold in Ireland to date, the RAV4 has firmly established itself as a trusted choice for Irish drivers seeking reliability, comfort and refined driving performance.

Now offering an EV driving range of up to 137km, the model combines electric driving capability with the practicality and confidence required for longer journeys, alongside a total driving range exceeding 1,000km.

Customers interested in securing one of the new RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid are encouraged to contact their local Toyota dealer now to place an order and find out more.
