New Audi Q9 arrives in Ireland

The Q9 is available with seven seats as standard or in an optional six-seat configuration.

Audi Ireland has unveiled the all-new Audi Q9 SUV, the largest and most luxurious SUV ever to join the Audi model range, writes Trish Whelan. 

Due here towards the end of this year, it is the new flagship of the Audi portfolio, combining spaciousness, precise dynamics and technological innovation with comfort, refinement and capability.

The Q9 is available with seven seats as standard or in an optional six-seat configuration. All three seats in the second row feature ISOFIX mounting points, making this a practical car for families.

Power is from a 3.0 V6 TDI engine producing 220 kW, complemented by Audi's latest MHEV plus technology. Power is delivered through an eight-speed tiptronic transmission with Quattro permanent all-wheel drive as standard.

The Q9 TDI Quattro 220 kW S line is the first to arrive priced from €172,250, with e-hybrid models to follow later.
