Renowned choir to perform concert in Castlebar
The talented Chapel Street Gospel Choir will perform at the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar later this month.
The award-winning Chapel Street Gospel Choir will deliver an unforgettable evening of music and inspiration with their upcoming concert, Spirit and Soul ’25.
The Chapel Street Gospel Choir have been a staple in the Mayo music scene since they formed in 1999, known for their powerful harmonies and uplifting performances that have thrilled local, regional, national and international audiences.
Over two and a half decades, the group has evolved into a slick, professional group which has energised audiences all over the county and much further afield thanks to their wonderfully talented and dedicated members.
Under the direction of Belcarra-native Kathy Fahey, a renowned and noted musical director, they have captivated audiences and performed at prestigious venues and events, including the National Concert Hall and international stages in New York and Philadelphia.
Following on from their sold-out concerts in December and their hugely successful 25th Anniversary Celebration in the TF Royal Theatre last year, the choir will bring their Spirit and Soul ’25 concert to the same venue.
This concert promises a dynamic repertoire that blends traditional gospel with contemporary arrangements that showcase the choir’s versatility and passion.
The choir’s recent successes and critical acclaim, reflects its growing popularity and Mayo’s enthusiasm for their music.
