A new series of fully funded short courses in quality and manufacturing is being introduced by Mayo Sligo Leitrim ETB’s Skills to Advance programme, exclusively for people based in the region.
Delivered in collaboration with Innopharma Education, the upcoming courses are designed to bridge industry skills gaps, offering a valuable opportunity to upskill or refresh peoples’ knowledge in key areas including Cleanroom Operations, Quality, cGMP, Bioprocessing and Chemical Processing. Courses will be delivered mostly online with occasional in-person sessions in Westport or Sligo, these programmes allow participants to gain recognized upskilling without compromising their current work commitments.
There will be two drop-in events taking place next week in Westport on Tuesday November 4th and in Sligo on Wednesday November 5th, where anyone interested in studying on one of the programmes can meet with the Innopharma team to find out more about the courses and ask any questions they have about course content, accreditation, eligibility and the application process.

These ETB-funded courses are fully subsidized for employed individuals living or working in the North West region, making this a rare no-cost opportunity to advance your career in high-growth sectors. Graduates of these courses will gain hands-on skills, sector-specific knowledge, and access to in-demand roles in quality control, operations, process engineering, bioprocessing, and more.
