The former constituency office of retired Mayo TD Michael Ring has gone on sale.
The Westport property served as the base of Ring who was first elected a TD in 1994 and served for 30 years until his retirement in 2024. The Fine Gael politician was given the role of Minister for Rural and Community Development in 2017 and held that position until 2020 having previously been a Minister of State from 2011.
Ring’s former office on Quay Street in the heart of Westport is a protected structure and would require reconfiguration and renovation if new owners wished to return the property to residential use.
