Ballina Salmon Festival: Mayo Fit Games will decide the county's fittest

The Mayo Fit Games are taking place during this year’s Ballina Salmon Festival and it will determine who is the fittest in Mayo.

Taking place against the backdrop of the former Military Barracks at the Innovation Quarter in the north Mayo capital, the Mayo Fit Games are the ultimate outdoor fitness showdown.

From solo warriors to full-force teams, participants will battle through over 10 high-energy events that test strength, endurance, speed and pure grit.

Be prepared for everything from rows, runs, assault bikes, tyre carries and chaos. Whether you’re just looking to participate, or take the title of Mayo's Fittest, this is the event to show what you are made of.

Entries are limited so make sure you secure your place before they are gone. Male and female solo participants can enter for €30 while a team of four can enter and split up the work for €120.

The Mayo Fit Games take place on Thursday, July 17, starting at 6.30pm.
