Ballina Salmon Festival: have a ball at unique Ardnaree event
Participants are sure to have a ball when the Great Hill Ball Run 2025 rolls into Ardnaree on Saturday, July 13.
As part of this year’s lively ‘Spraoi on the Ree’ celebrations and the Ballina Salmon Festival, Ardnaree Sarsfields Bord na nÓg is thrilled to announce the Great Hill Ball Run taking place atop the legendary Ardnaree Hill.
Thousands of colourful numbered balls will race down the slope in one wild, gravity-fuelled dash to the finish line with a brilliant prize on offer to the lucky winner. Every ball has a number, every number has a chance and the odds are the same for each participant.
All you need is one lucky bounce.
The first ball to cross the finish line wins the grand prize of €400 while the next five to cross the line will each take home €20.
